What is a Community Access Membership?
With the support of generous community members and local organizations we are excited to offer free annual memberships to members of our community who currently receive SNAP or EBT benefits!**
CAM families enjoy all of the same exciting membership benefits.
Including admission to the Air Zoo 360+ days per year. As a Smithsonian Affiliated Aerospace & Science Center we have lots to offer! Guests enjoy more than 100 rare and unique aircraft and spacecraft, dozens of hands-on learning spaces and state-of-the-art exhibits, a nationally recognized restoration center, amusement park-style rides, simulators, a movie theater, education programs, and inspiring events as well. Member kiddos are encouraged to join us for Air Zoo Explorers activities and all are welcome at our special Member Only Events. As a member you will also receive our enews which is filled with upcoming programs, events, and special announcements.
Signing up is easy!!
When you visit, just bring your ID and EBT/SNAP benefits card with you and we will get you signed up on the appropriate level (listed below), and ready to imagine, explore and discover with us! You must sign up for the CAM program in person.
Please note: This membership program is fund driven. Our teams are continually working to raise funds for this program. In the event that CAM funds are depleted, families wishing to visit the Air Zoo will be able to take advantage of the Museum's For All* pricing of $2/person age 5+ living in the household. Names and contact information may be provided to our guest experience team for notification of funds when they are again made available. We appreciate your understanding! Anyone looking to support the program financially can do so here.
CAM Program Policies
CAM Membership Eligibility
Families and individuals receiving EBT/SNAP benefits qualify for CAM memberships while funds last. Applications must be made in person but are short and non-invasive. Photo ID and proof of enrollment must be presented during application.
Renewed/Returning CAM Membership Eligibility
Due to high demand, membership renewal for the CAM program is prioritized for members who have shown attendance and engagement. CAM members who have used their membership 3 or more times to participate throughout their membership year in visitation or programming, are encouraged to renew in-person as program funding is available.
Families and individuals not eligible for renewal are encouraged to visit any time through the Museums For All (MFA) program. This program is based on the same approval criteria as CAM and provides daily admission at the reduced pricing of $2/person* for ages 5+.
*Reduced admission through Museums for All is limited to 6 household members ages 5+ per visit.

- Invitations to members-only and VIP events
- 10% discount in Fly Buy Museum Store

- ASTC and NARM membership benefits giving you FREE or reduced admission to over 1200 museums and science centers worldwide!
Grandparent
Two Adults + All Grandchildren 18 Under
