Air Zoo Birthday Parties: A Stellar Celebration

Make your child's next birthday party unforgettable! The Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Center offers an exciting array of activities and birthday fun!

• The Pilot Experience: Pilot hat for the birthday guest of honor. Cockpit time for the guest of honor and photo opportunities. $25.00  
• Super Slime Bar: Make Your Own Slime and take it home with the party host. Add in your favorite color paint, glitter, shapes, and watch the magic of science activate the slime. $25.00 per every 10 kids at the party. 
• Galaxy Marbling: Make your own art piece to take home with you. We use shaving cream and food dye to make galactic looking art pieces to take home. $25.00 per every 10 kids at the party.  
• Cupcake Craze: Assorted chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and sprinkles. $15.00 per every 10 kids at party.

Important Information

Parties are available on Saturdays at 11 am and 2 pm and Sundays at 1pm.  

Birthday Party requests must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the requested date to ensure availability of staff and space.  

The Air Zoo will hold your date on a first-option basis for 7 business days, at which time the Air Zoo requires a deposit of $100.00  

All bookings pertaining to scheduled events must be coordinated through the Air Zoo’s Event and Group Sales Coordinators.

Policies and Procedures

• All reservations require a minimum of 10 guests.
• Parents and chaperones for birthday parties are also charged as attending guests.
• All reservations must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
• Any changes must be made 10 calendar days before the event, including cancellation.
• Guests may bring their own cake and decorations.
• No helium balloons or lit candles (open flames) will be permitted.

Frequently Asked Questions 

Can I bring in my own cupcakes/cake?  

Yes, you may bring cake for the party. Store bought items are preferred. Please bring something to cut/serve the cake with.  

How early should I arrive? 

You may arrive as early as you want at the museum; however, the party room will not be available until the start time of your party.  

Can I have decorations? 

You can bring in your own, but we don't allow decorations to be taped to the walls. Balloons, confetti, and glitter are not permitted. If you aren’t sure, just ask us!  

What happens if I need to cancel? 

Party deposits can be refunded if you cancel more than 14 days before the scheduled party date. However, we do NOT refund party deposits less than 14 days before the scheduled date. If you need to reschedule, please contact us one week prior to the date to allow us to reschedule.  

What do we do after the hour in the party room is up? 

After your hour in the party room, you and your guests are able to enjoy all of the exhibits and attractions in our museum, including our carnival rides and flight simulators. You also have admission to our Flight Discovery Center, home to our nationally recognized Restoration Center.
